教学设计

一、教学设计说明:

本课以“I like music that I can dance to”为中心话题,围绕关系代词“that ,who”的用法,通过学习由关系代词引导的定语从句,让学生学习谈论自己的喜好,培养他们的审美情趣。

本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中,学生通过谈论自己的喜好,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。本节课为Section A的第一课时,主要学习内容是:初步学会使用that 和who引导的定语从句来表达自己的喜好。

 

二、教学目标

1、知识目标

学会恰当的使用引导词that ,who

2、能力目标

1)掌握功能句“What kind of music do you like ?  I like music that I can dance to .I love singers who can write their own music.

  1. 能够自如地谈论自己所喜欢的音乐和音乐家。

3、情感目标

通过学生谈论对音乐和音乐家的好恶,从而使学生学会欣赏音乐的美。

 

三、教学重点和难点

1、重点:

1)本节课的教学重点是学会并掌握先行词为物或者人时,引导词“that ,who”的使用方法。

2)“prefer”的用法

3)掌握有关音乐的词汇和相关的词组,能够比较流利地描述自己喜欢的音乐,运用功能句 “What kind of music do you like ?  I like music that I can dance to . I love singers who can write their own music.

  1. 难点:

结合功能句进行听力练习,尤其是2a、2b

 

四.教学过程:

Step1:Lead in

 

1. The teacher plays a beautiful song.

2. And try to ask the students some questions about the song.

Listen carefully and answer the teachers’

questions.

以歌曲导入新课,可以激发学生的学习兴趣,而且与本课时重点相吻合。

Step2:

Presentation

 

1.Teach the students new words: lyric ,gentle

2.Ask the students: What kind of music do you like

3. The teacher sets an example: I like music that has great lyrics. I like music that is gentle.

3. Show some pictures and lead the students to say some  sentences .

 

学生在老师的引领下回答问题,用示范句型:I like music that has great lyrics. I like music that is gentle.

让学生初步感知定语从句。

Step3:

Practice

Give the students a model and let them make new conversations using “prefer”.

Practice in pairs.

学生通过对话练习本节课重点句型,同时创设情境鼓励学生大胆开口说英语,培养学生的英语交际能力。

 

Step4:

Listening

practice

Let the students listen to the tape and do 1b.

通过听力练习,培养学生养成正确的听力习惯,训练学生听音获取处理和使用信息的能力。

Practice

Let the students make new conversations: What kind of singers/musicians/

Groups do you prefer?

Work in pairs

通过对话练习巩固本节课所学重点知识。

 

Step6:

Listening

practice

Let the students listen to the tape and do 2a and 2b

Listen and finish 2a and 2b

通过听力练习,培养学生养成正确的听力习惯,训练学生听音获取处理和使用信息的能力。

 

Step7:

Summary

Lead the students to conclude the grammar. And

give the students some exercises.

With the help of the teacher , the students try to sum grammar: the attributive clause.

引领学生归纳总结定语从句的基本构成和用法,不断培养学生的归纳总结能力。

Step8:

Make   a

survey

Let the students work in groups and do a survey.

Work in groups and make a survey  . And then try to make a report.

拓展延伸.学生运用本节课所学知识,作调查,作汇报,提高学生的综合能力.
